Troll Depth estimates how much line to let out so a lure runs near a target depth while you troll. Set the depth and speed, and the app tells you the line-out. Change the line-out instead, and it estimates the depth.
Build your rig
Every rig starts with a rod and main line. Add weights, leaders, dodgers, and lures, each changing drag, dive, and sink. Thinner line, slower speed, diving plugs, and added weight all tend to run deeper.
Choose fresh or salt water. Salt water is denser, so the same rig runs a little shallower. Save your favourite setups to switch back in one tap.
What the numbers mean
Results are estimates that scale with line-out, speed, line diameter, lure type, attractor drag, and weight. Imperial and metric units are both supported. Specific lure data is coming in future versions.
